Everything You Need to Wear an Oscars Beauty Look IRL

No red carpet required.

While you probably won't wear a custom sequined Calvin Klein dress to work on Monday or to your Calculus class (without a few eye rolls, at least), you definitely can fully rock the beauty looks celebrities wore on the red carpet at the 2016 Oscars.
And to show you exactly how, we teamed up with Net-a-Porter Senior Style Editor Tracy Taylor for a play-by-play on what products you need (and can shop for, to boot) to recreate three stunning looks from last night's show.

Rachel McAdam's Makeup

We love when celebrities remind us to pay attention to colored eyeliner. Black is great for that cat-eye, but your beauty repertoire grows significantly when you open up to wearing multicolored hues. Thanks to Rachel McAdams, green is on our radar. Follow Tracy's tips below to get the entire look for yourself.
1."Prime the skin with Good Genes Serum ($105; net-a-porter.com), which will help brighten, refine, and plump the skin."
2."Follow the serum with a hydrating moisturizer such as This Works Perfect Look Skin Miracle ($52; net-a-porter.com). I love that this moisturizer is tinted so you can skip out on using cover up offering your face an instant glow."
3."I loved that Rachel's eye makeup was the perfect shade of green to compliment [her] emerald colored gown. To mimic her look, try Charlotte Tilbury's Eye Palette in The Rebel ($52; net-a-porter.com) and finish off the look with Nars Audacious Mascara in Black Moon ($26; net-a-porter.com)."
4."Finish off the look with a gorgeous pale pink lip. I love Nude #1 by Hourglass ($30; net-a-porter.com), which has lanolin and seed oil that helps pump up your pout."

Brie Larson's Half-Up Hairstyle

One look at Oscar winner (!!!) Brie Larson's hairstyle and you'll want a hair broach. Trust. Us. She added the sparkly number in a low-key half-up style, and while it may be a tad dressy for your trip to the gym, you can bet it will dress up and jeans and plain white tee.
1. "Finger comb in a dime size amount of Balmain Pre-Styling Cream ($36; net-a-porter.com). Then, make a center part and pull back and twist the sides to the center of your crown. Secure with bobby pins."
2. "To help hold a light curl at the end, use Show Beauty's Couture Curl Enhancer ($45; net-a-porter.com). It's a thick formula but creates control without feeling weighed down."
3. "Finish the look with Maison Michel's Gold Hair Slide ($360; net-a-porter.com) and a generous sprite of Oribe's Anti-Humidity Finishing Spray ($39; net-a-porter.com)."

Jennifer Lawrence

We waited anxiously for J.Law to step on the carpet last night, and when she finally did, she did not disappoint. While a smoky eye isn't anything revolutionary, it will never, ever go out of style. And paired with a sleek bob and a glossy lip, it's a winning beauty look, for sure. Here's how to get it at home.
1. "Start off by priming the eyelids, which will help fill lines and wrinkles for a youthful appearance. By Terry's Eye Base ($46; net-a-porter.com) is a great option that has a transparent matte finish."
2. "Blend in champagne and bronze hues. Surratt Beauty's Idealist Shadow ($20; net-a-porter.com) is perfect for creating that bronze smoky eye."
3. "Finish off your lids by blending Charlotte Tilbury's Rock 'N' Kohl in Bedroom Black ($27; net-a-porter.com) along the top and bottom lash line making the line thiner as you near the inner corner."
4. "Add your finishing touch with Kevyn Auction's The Volume Mascara in Rich Pitch Black ($28; net-a-porter.com). This will add some serious volume, as well as thicken and curl your lashes without clumping."
